In 2008 we completed our first project — an educational garden for the City of Victoria. We wanted to help people understand the effects of stormwater runoff, and learn about what can be done to reduce the amount of water we push into our lakes, rivers, and streams. Volunteers from Eaton in Eden Prairie, the City of Victoria, and from the local community joined a list of sponsors lead by Eaton and By The Woods Landscaping to complete the park with just one day of volunteer effort. Here are some pictures:

A few of the sponsors:

The full group of volunteers:

Learning to plant:
Within a few weeks, we’ll be posting pictures and information about a few of the opportunities we’ll have in near future, and about ways you can get involved. We’re always looking for help, from volunteering with us to helping sponsor the materials we’ll need to get the job done right.
